The United States says it is prepared to reward Pakistan for cooperating with its efforts to bring to justice those responsible for last week's terror attacks in New York and Washington.
The U-S Ambassador to Pakistan, Wendy Chamberlin, says Washington is aware of what Pakistan needs to achieve the objectives of the Musharraf government and is looking into ways of providing more economic assistance to Pakistan.
She says the Pakistani leader, General Pervez Musharraf, has fully cooperated with requests for assistance when Washington has asked for it.
Currently, the United States has urged Pakistan to provide the use of its airspace and close its border with Afghanistan.
Pakistan in return has asked for more financial aid and easing of international sanctions on its nuclear program.
