Afghanistan's Foreign Minister Abdullah says there is evidence Osama bin Laden and Taleban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar are still alive.
Speaking to reporters today (Tuesday) in Kabul, Mr. Abdullah said Afghan intelligence indicates the two men are -- in his words -- unfortunately alive.
But the foreign minister said Afghan authorities do not have a clear idea where the two fugitive leaders might be.
Neither Osama bin Laden nor Mullah Omar have been seen since late last year, when a U-S-led military coalition drove the Taleban from power in Afghanistan.
The United States is hunting for both in connection with the deadly September 11th terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.
