Unidentified attackers have fired at least three rockets on Afghanistan's Jalalabad airport.
The early morning assault today (Wednesday) caused limited damage and no known injuries or casualties. The Afghan Islamic Press reports that one rocket landed in a nearby village.
The report also says attackers launched two other rockets -- one that landed near the Darunta dam just west of Jalalabad and another that hit the eastern part of Gardez near the U-S base there.
Afghan authorities are sweeping the southern edge of Jalalabad for the culprits.
