Russia plans to give about 10 military planes and helicopters to Afghanistan to help rebuild its military.
Interfax news agency reports Russia will donate the An-12 warplanes and Mi-8 helicopters.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov promised the equipment to Afghanistan last month during a visit to the Afghan capital, Kabul.
